Time Flies

I can't believe that November is already half way over and there is only 45 more days left in the year. In July I resigned from my full time job to stay at home with the kids and grow my Stampin' Up! Business....Little did I realize that my days would be just as busy. My team is growing and so is my Stampin' Up Business but in the meantime so is my personal life.

My husband and I bought a Horse farm to keep our two horses at so my time lately has been spent between two houses, two kids and lots of animals and my growing business....so I have not had a lot of time to post updates to my blog. But that is going to change and I am going to get better about posting again.

My Halloween Decor Class was a success and so was my October and November Stamp Camps and all of my workshops during the past three months. I will have the photos of the cards in my next post.

I am also hosting a Holiday 10-10-$15.00 this weekend that I am excited about and hope to see you there.

The Holidays are right around the corner

This is my favorite time of the year. Football Season has started, the weather is finally starting to cool off, school is back in session and the Holidays are fast approaching. Halloween decorating is a month away and the new Holiday Mini has some great items to help and my Halloween decor class on October 4th will help you get a jump on your decorating.

Summer is Almost over

July was crazy, as most of you may know I had a full time job on top of being a Stampin' Up demonstrator. After some changes with my family my husband and I decided that it would be best for me to stay at home with the girls so on the 16th of July I finished my last day working for HP and spent the weekend getting ready to go to the Stampin' Up Convention in Salt Lake City.

At Convention I learned a lot of great things and got lots of new ideas. Since I recruited several people while participating in Recruit Crew in the spring, I got to have breakfast with Shelli and some of the other Executives which was a lot of fun a long with partying at the flower power party.
After Convention I have been enjoy the rest of the summer with the girls and I have been holding several workshops. I will be posting some of the pictures of the cards we have been making at my workshops and also the cards for my Camp next weekend. Hope you can make it!!

Who knew I could sew

I saw these really cute quilted bags at Leadership that used the Square Scallop Die and our Big Shot, but I am not much of a sewer. As a matter of fact, I had asked for a sewing machine 5 years ago for my birthday to sew scrapbook pages.....then I learned the sewing technique and never got my sewing machine out of the box.

I was so impressed with the bag that I saw that it got me thinking.....MAYBE I CAN MAKE THAT!! I went out and bought some cute material for my daughter and thought it would make a good test bag, and it did!! I was so excited at how it turned out, that I got ambitious and made 2 bags for my daughters preschool teachers for end of the year gifts.

They were so cute I had to share!! Who knew I could sew something so cute :)

Color Renovation

Now that Spring Break is over it is time to get back to work!

Last week, Stampin' Up! announced that they have renovated the family colors for the new 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog. Starting July 1st you will see some oldies but goodies, the introduction of some great new colors and some past In Colors being brought back to complete the 4 new family colors (Regals, Brights, Subtles and Neutrals).



We will continue to introduce new In Colors every year, but now they will be available for 2 years instead of 1. Though there are a few colors I am sad to see go......I am SO EXCITED about the Color Renovation and I hope you will be too.




It is time to bid a fond farewell to the following colors. These colors will be available through June 30th. But if you buy My Digital Studio before June 30th you will have these colors for much longer.

A long with the renovation Stampin' Up! is introducing a new color coach, the new tool is great and provides a fresh new way to look at color combination allowing you to take it apart and lay out the color next to one another to see how they will look on that special project that you are working on.

I had a lot of fun making the cards for my March Stamp Camp....I just love SPRING, evidently Georgia did not get the memo that it is spring since we had snow flurries yesterday.

Scrapbooking with My Digital Studio

Yesterday I attended the webinar featuring Patty Bennett on Creating Calendars. I was really excited, because she was presenting at leadership and she had some amazing ideas for our Kits in the Occasions Mini so I could not wait to see what she had to show us!

She showed us some really neat things to make creating simple using mats and shadowing and the art of opacity slide bar. Needless to say since I had just gotten back from Disney and had some cute photos I had to try some of it out in my new scrapbook, even though she showed us how to do it while creating a calendar, you can use it for all your projects. Don't forget MDS uses the fonts you already have on your computer......there are tons of free fonts out on the Web

February Stamp Camp

After months of waiting Stampin' UP! has released the Simply Adorned Chains and Charms. I have only had a little time to play with them, but check out what I have made. Haitian Relief efforts by Stampin’ UP! ®

On January 12, 2010 a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, leaving in its wake devastation so overwhelming that the Haitian people and their leaders can only look for help from the outside to cope. Day 1 of Leadership

Like all Stampin' UP! Events you can't stand in line and wait for the doors to open without SWAPPING!! I have gotten some really good ideas for both Cards and 3D's that I will try to post when I get home. My 3D made it on the display board also.....how cute is this for a Valentine, not to mention it includes chocolate.

The theme is so perfect "Love What You Do" and it truly has reminded me why I love Stampin' UP! and everyone that I have met because of Stampin' UP! which is why I Love What I Do!!

Shelli's opening was moving as always and the demonstrations that were shown during General Session has given me a lot of cute ideas for classes and camps. Pam Morgan presenting some really cute crafting ideas.....but of course you can't make a craft without a little stamping.....how cute are these...... She made roses using Baby Socks and a Bunny with a white wash cloth.

We have gotten to see a lot of our new product that is now available in our Occasions Mini. Not only are we now offering positionable stamps and clear mounting blocks, but we have some great accessories, new punches that are redesigned for easy storing and great DSP that already has the glitz of Dazzling Diamonds.....Look for upcoming events that will showcase all of our great new products, not to mention Sale-A-Bration has started and it is a great time to earn those free stamp sets!!

At the end of our classes today, I hit the town for a bite to eat at Sam's Cafe with my friends from Tennessee Beth (Who I met at the Chattanooga 1/2 Day Regional where we had the opportunity to have breakfast with Pam Morgan) and her friend Angela. We also hooked up with fellow Demonstrators from D.C. and Canada.
